Monster Hunter World isn’t the only standout in Capcom’s latest financial results. While it is the biggest performer, it seems Capcom’s efforts to revive the Blue Bomber, their mascot Mega Man, bore fruit last year too. Without going into specific numbers, Capcom reported that series revival Mega Man 11 ended up selling “well” last year.
“In addition, Mega Man 11 (for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PC)… reported strong sales,” their fiscal report says. They also add that the Mega Man X Legacy Collection ended up selling well too, which should come as good news for fans since Capcom has previously stated that a new game in the Mega Man X franchise is contingent on fan reception to Mega Man 11.
Mega Man 11 (for PC) Mega Man 11 is about as retro as a game can get nowadays, with tight action and great charm. It can be a touch too difficult at times, but overall it's a fantastic side.
“Mega Man X Legacy Collection, Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 and Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1+2 (for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PC for all three titles) performed well thanks to a dedicated fan base and strong brand capabilities,” they noted.
- Mega Man is back! The newest entry in this iconic series blends classic, challenging 2D platforming action with a fresh look. The stunning new visual style refreshes the series' iconic colorfulness, combining hand-drawn environments with detailed, 3D character models.
- Mega Man X8 is the eighth and final installment in the Mega Man X series, a spin-off of the classic NES action game, Mega Man. Playing as a robotic hero with exceptional skill in both weapons and traversal, you'll battle through a fierce android war as you uncover the truth behind a mysterious plot.
This is excellent news, because it suggests that Capcom will not retire Mega Man for as long as they did for the last few years. While it’s clear that Mega Man will never sell as much as Monster Hunter or Resident Evil, at least we can be assured that it will sell well enough for Capcom to continue investing in the franchise.

Mega Man X Pc
It holds the distinction of being the first Mega Man game for the SNES, as well as the first game in the Mega Man X series. The Mega Man X series is a spin-off of the popular Mega Man series. The game was released in 1993, and has since been ported and remade on other platforms like Playstation 2, Gamecube, MS-DOS, Mobile Phones, Playstation Portable, and PC.
The plot of the game features a futuristic setting. Humans and “Reploids”, sentient robots, live there in harmony and less than harmony. Many Reploids commit nefarious acts. These troublemaking Reploids are refered to as Mavericks. Mega Man X, our protagonist, is a Reploid Hunter. X must hunt down Sigma, a maverick attempting to bring about human extinction.
This game is a gem. Despite its age it still feels brand new. It's a classic platformer that will leave you wanting more. The controls are solid, the music is rockin' and the gameplay is addictive. My only problem with the game is its length. I just wish there was more to it.
